Are ChatGPT plugins still available?
Yes. ChatGPT’s plugin directory is live at chatgpt.com/plugins, where you can search for plugins and add them to ChatGPT. On November 7, 2026 we ran 13 searches there and found 246 different plugins.

What the data shows
- An official plugin (built by the tool's maker or by OpenAI) ranks #1 in 4 of 10 brand searches, and makes the top 10 in 4. Office tools report
- There's no official plugin in the top 10 for “excel”, “word”, “powerpoint”, “gmail”, “google sheets”, “google docs”, so independent developers hold every spot. Office tools report

How we collect this data
We searched ChatGPT’s plugin directory (chatgpt.com/plugins) logged out from the US on November 7, 2026, and recorded every result in the order the directory showed it. Positions are the directory’s own order, not our opinion. Developer and category come from each plugin’s listing. The directory doesn’t publish install counts, so nothing here measures popularity directly.
